I -Enrolment of children into the first grade of primary school will take place in APRIL, from April 1st to April 30th 2021.
For exceptional justified cases, enrolment will also take place in August so we urge the parents/guardians to complete the enrolment in april, because only exceptional cases, with a justified cause can apply for the August enrolment.
II - Enrolment into the first grade of the 2021/2022 academic year will be applicable only for those children who have turned at least 5 years and 6 months of age by March 1st 2021.
The School maintains the right to enable enrolment to a child younger than the required age for the beginning of obligatory education, only with a written request of the parent/guardian and if the School itself, with agreement from the enrolment Commission, concludes that enrolment is in the best interest of the child.
Enrolment of a child younger than the required age can only be completed if the child will have turned the age of six, by the end of the calendar year.
III – Necessary things for the enrolment of children into the first grade of the 2021/2022 academic year include the following: -The parent/guardian needs to fill out the “Application for the enrolment of child into the first grade of 2021/2022 academic year”. -The filled out form needs to be delivered to either the School’s email address [email protected] or via mail to the address Francuske revolucije bb, 71210 Ilidža, Sarajevo.
IV- Parents/guardians are obligated to deliver the enrolment documentation to the School’s address after the conclusion of the state of natural disaster caused by the spread of infectious coronavirus related disease (COVID-19).
Required documentation for the enrolment of children into the first grade of primary school:
• Birth certificate or a certified copy of it;
• Medical certificate about psychophysical condition of the child in relation to school enrolment, and health status with a description of potential existing difficulties;
• Certificate of the child having attended mandatory preschool program for children in the year prior to school enrolment, given out by the pre-school institution;
• CIPS residence certificate, as evidence of belonging to the school area - for inspection.
Parents/guardians will be timely informed by the School about the deadlines for sending aforementioned documentation and testing.
